Cable Mavericks® Masters Series: One Day Degree in Cable is a part of the Cable Mavericks Lecture Series, a program developed by The Cable Center to connect university students and the cable industry.
Launching in 2011, the One Day Degree program will give students a chance to hear from multiple speakers in one location and to interview for jobs and internships in the industry.
The Cable Mavericks Lecture Series, now in its fifth year, has reached thousands of students across the country.Over the years, feedback received by The Center has shown that 80 percent of students consider the cable industry a compelling career option after participating in a lecture. Out of that group, 90 percent had not previously thought about the industry as a possibility.
