Director, Programs and Education, The Cable Center
Dolly Wolf is director of programs and education for The Cable Center. Hired in 2003, Wolf supports the senior vice president of programs and education and focuses on working with universities across the country on diverse programs. She helps to oversee the educational outreach about the cable industry through events, screenings and events.
Wolf has been directing the planning and execution of The Center’s signature program, the Cable Mavericks Lecture Series since it launched in October of 2005. Mavericks has reached over 3,000 students from UCLA to Harvard; and partnered with many of the top industry executives. She has also acquired over 400 hours of original programming from some of the industry’s top networks including Comedy Central, Court TV, CNBC, HBO, HGTV, Oxygen Media, and Showtime. This content is held in The Cable Center’s Barco Library archives, and can be viewed within our facility.
Dolly has been in the cable industry since 1993 and her responsibilities have included planning and scheduling multiple analog channels and territories and event acquisitions and management positions in the programming departments with the Hallmark Channel/International and Request PPV Television.
She is a 2009 WICT Rocky Mountain Leadership Institute graduate, and attended college in Colorado, studying marketing and the fashion industry.
