Senior Manager, Americas Home Marketing, Motorola Mobility
Zenita Henderson is a Senior Manager, Americas Home Marketing, Motorola Mobility. In this role, she is responsible for developing customer relationships to grow sales and drive adoption of new technology within North & Latin America regional operators, distribution channel and Technology Services by designing collaborative marketing programs and tools for Motorola Mobility go-to-market team, cable, telco and wireless customers.
Henderson started her career at Motorola (then Jerrold Communications a division of General Instrument) in 1988 as a Customer Service Representative where she was responsible for key MSO accounts. In 1997, she moved to a Community Relations role where she created and implemented a formal community relations program eventually adopted nationwide. In 1998, she transitioned to a trade show specialist role where she managed Motorola’s trade shows and events, including sponsorships, budget, event execution, strategy, all show logistics as well as overseeing operations of external vendor management in support of marketing initiatives.
Over the past four years, Henderson has been a leading catalyst for cable industry diversity and inclusion programs working with the Motorola Foundation to fund over $1M across organizations such as Women In Cable & Telecommunications, The Cable Center, Emma Bowen Foundation, Cable Positive and NAMIC.
